Terms of Service
Welcome to Yazhi Snap, a product of Yazhi Software Solutions. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our hybrid photography management platform.
1. Platform Architecture & Service Description
Yazhi Snap operates as a hybrid software ecosystem comprising:
- Yazhi Snap Desktop Host App: A local hardware-accelerated application used by photographers for real-time photo capture and local network processing.
- Local Sidecar & Guest App: A local-network-only infrastructure allowing event guests to upload photos, "like" photos, and generate branded share cards without internet connectivity.
- Cloud Management Portal: The internet-facing cloud dashboard and client gallery system.
These terms apply to all components of the ecosystem.
2. Licensing, Payments, and Billing
Access to premium features requires the purchase of digital License Keys:
- Event Keys: Permit local network operations, Guest App hosting, and auto-compression for a single event.
- Cloud Keys: Activate an internet-facing client gallery for exactly 7 days from the moment of activation.
Payment Processing: Currently, purchases are processed via manual offline invoicing. In the near future, we will transition to Razorpay for automated billing. By purchasing a key, you agree to the pricing terms presented at checkout.
Refund Policy: Once a key is applied to an event, it is considered "burned" and cannot be transferred, refunded, or reused under any circumstances. Cloud galleries have a strict lifetime limit of 2,500 professional uploads per event.
3. Team Accounts and Studio Liability
Yazhi Snap allows Studio Owners to invite Team Members (Managers, Operators, Viewers). As a Studio Owner, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are strictly liable for all actions taken by team members operating under your studio account.
- You are responsible for ensuring your team members comply with these Terms, including maintaining the privacy of guest and client photos.
- Yazhi Software Solutions is not liable for internal studio disputes, accidental deletions, or misuse of keys by your authorized team members.
4. Hardware Routers and Network Security
The platform supports linking physical networking routers to your studio profile via MAC address and device public keys. You agree to:
- Only link routers that you legally own and possess.
- Not abuse the local mDNS discovery protocols, sidecar networking, or router hardware to compromise or inject malicious code into client or venue networks.
- Accept that Yazhi Software Solutions may block or blacklist routers that show signs of tampering or unauthorized telemetry modification.
5. User Responsibilities & Data
As a photographer, you agree to:
- Maintain full local backups of all photos. Yazhi Snap is not responsible for data loss due to hardware failure on the host machine.
- Ensure you have the explicit right and consent to capture, store, watermark, and upload photos of guests and clients to the Cloud Gallery.
- Actively moderate any gamification features (such as the Hall of Fame) and ensure no offensive or explicit content is uploaded by guests to your local server.
6. Expiration of Cloud Assets
Cloud Galleries automatically expire 7 days after activation. Upon expiration, the gallery will be locked, and photos will be scheduled for permanent deletion from our storage servers to maintain platform efficiency. It is strictly the photographer's responsibility to deliver photos to clients before this period ends.
7. Intellectual Property
Platform IP: Yazhi Software Solutions retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Yazhi Snap software, source code, logos, and ecosystem infrastructure.
User Content: You (or your clients) retain all ownership rights to the photographic content processed or uploaded through our platform. You grant us a limited, secure license strictly to host and serve this content to your clients via the Cloud Gallery.
8. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yazhi Software Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data loss, or business interruption resulting from hardware failure, software crashes during live events, or network outages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yazhi Software Solutions from any claims, damages, or lawsuits brought by your clients, guests, or third parties arising out of your use of the platform.
9. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your studio's access to the Cloud Portal and Desktop App at our sole discretion, without notice or liability, if you breach these Terms of Service or engage in illegal or abusive network activities.
10. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
